Having a Wobble

Yes I know, once I’ve had the operation, the eye pain will be gone. It’ll be so much better, there’ll be no more glare and I’ll get a brand shiny new eye!

But I’m seriously scared! I just wish I could get it over with.

My parents are on holiday but before they went my mother asked if I wanted them to cancel. Of course I said no. I’m 51, I can do this! It’s not life threatening and they need a holiday!

Doesn’t stop me wanting my mum though! What am I like!

Three days to go and my lovely parents in law are coming to look after me!

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
