Recording family occasions

This morning I have received the very sad news that my sisters mother-in-law passed away this week. We weren’t particularly close but we had some very enjoyable times with her. She was a lovely lady, very interesting and engaging. She love to talk about almost anything and was always happy to take part in any debate!

In the last couple of years, My husband and I have started to record family occasio
ns. I sometimes feel that people are a little uncomfortable with this, but for us it is like having Audio photographs. What I am really pleased about today is that we recorded lots of what was happening when we were all together at Christmas. So, we will always have a recording of jenny to remember her by. Rest in peace jenny.

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
