At last! Its march and the days are starting to get a little longer. It seems to have been a very long winter this year and I can’t wait to see the back of it. Although it was cold this morning, my walk to work was very pleasant. Sunshine and nothing under foot except for pavements. No ice or rain.

There’s that old saying, “If March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb.” I’m hoping that this morning’s frost and cold was sufficiently leonine to allow the lamb later in the month!

One Response to March

I’m glad the weather has improved too
Hi Mel! I agree with you, that this winter we’ve just had seemed very long: it didn’t help that we had a rotten choice of weather all winter, either snow and ice, or wind and rain. What a nice coincidence that 1 March should be a nice day weather-wise, even if it’s a bit cold out! Here’s hoping the weather will improve throughout this month, and onwards towards the summer!
