Great Day

Yesterday I had one of those brilliant days that you get near to the beginning of a guide dog partnership. I came to work, went to Sainsbury’s at lunchtime, went home and went out to my singing group in the evening. A pretty typical day for me but it was only when I got home last night that I realised how easy the day had been. I’d got to where I needed to go and the day had gone well. It dawned on me that Jasmine had worked well throughout the whole day and I’d been able to get on with everything without the stress of a new dog getting things wrong. She’s really settling down now

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
