Its Not All Bad

I feel I’ve been ranting a lot here just lately so wanted to share a little incident that took place on my way home from work the other day.

I was waiting to cross a road and a bus driver stopped to let me across in front of him. When I got to the other side he opened his doors and asked me if I’d been on my way to the bus stop and did I want to get on.

I didn’t but thanked him profusely. how kind of him. it only took him a moment but it was such a thoughtful gesture which I very much appreciated and left me smiling.

How many bus drivers would do that?
Hi Mel! That was really nice of that bus driver to stop for you when you were crossing the road, then open his door and ask whether you wanted to get on his bus. How many other bus drivers would be so kind, I wonder? Not many, probably, because I thik many of them don’t want disruption to their timetables, but I’m glad, for your sake, that this one too the time to see if you were OK and find out whether you wanted to use his bus or not.
