DAISY Reader

Just found a fabulous little DAISY reader application for mobile phones. It requires Talks 4 and a series 3 handset, but if you already have these, its a free download. On first glance, it makes books very navigable on a mobile phone, and the sound quality, particularly on my E51, is brilliant.

I love specialist software that runs on mainstream platforms. No need for me for any of those specialist players that look so awful. I can listen to books on the move on my very sleek and stylish phone.

the player can be found at http://www.talknav.com/downloads.

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
