Cliffden

Just come back from three nights at the cliffden hotel in Teignmouth. We were very reticent about booking following two bad experiences at Windermere Manor, but are so glad we went. The standard of service is so much better, the staff are polite and can’t do enough for you. the food was excellent. I came down with some sort of stomach bug whilst I was there and everyone was so kind, even going as far as fetching a prescription for me.

Even though Cliffden and Windermere Manor are both run by Action for Blind People, they are streets apart and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend cliffden. We can’t wait to go back!

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.

    Hotel reviews
Hi, glad you had a good stay apart from the stomach bug. That was really nice of them going and getting you a prescription!
I’ve just started a blog up where I’m going to review hotels, eating places, shops and other places that I and others visit. Would you fancy putting a review in and commenting on the accessibility, helpfulness of staff, quality of service, food and accommodation? If so, let me know and I’ll supply an address.
