Brilliant Service

I ran out of time yesterday so was unable to write about our brilliant journey back fron London on Sunday.

On arrival at King’s Cross station, a member of London Underground staff approached us and asked us if we’d like some help which we duly accepted. He took us right to the mainline station where we met a member of station staff who radioed through for our booked assistance. Two women arrived to help and as we had plenty of time before our train, took us to a cafe so that we could buy coffee.

We felt so relaxed and valued as customers. It was such a refreshing change.

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
