Closure of a Service

Tomorrow, Sense, the leading charity in the UK for deafblind people, are closing what could be a thriving transcription service in Coventry for the last time. In doing this they are making a visually impaired worker, who has worked hard for the last eight years redundant. The suddenness of their decision has also left their customers, who depend on the efficient service, high and dry.

At present I can’t comment further, but rest assured, I will be doing later on in the year.

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
