Exit Tracey – Enter Charlie

Well, I’m sad to have to write that my dear friend Tracey died on Sunday. We weren’t ever so close, but I’ll miss her and particularly her wicked sense of humour.

But life seems to go on and with the loss of one person comes the arrival of another. My friend Sue has her first grandson, Charlie, born at 1:45 this morning. Lucy and Charlie are both doing well I’ve heard and I’m sure that Sue is bursting with pride for her grandson.

About Mel Griffiths

I live and work in Nottingham, England and am blind. This blog is often centred around things that happen to me because of being blind. This is my space to write and sometimes people will disagree with what I write, but its the one place I have in which to be frank and honest. I also like to reflect on the funnier side of life from time to time.
